Jay Tapia helps athletes and active adults rebuild strength, restore confidence, and return to the life they refuse to sit out.

North TexasReady for what's next
For Jay, progress starts with listening, continues with a plan, and is earned one purposeful rep at a time.

Before the clinic, there was the Corps. Before the doctorate, there was the football field.
Jay served as a Marine infantryman and member of Marine Corps Security Forces. He later played fullback and tight end for the semi-professional San Antonio Stampede—experience that gave him an athlete's understanding of injury, recovery, and the drive to compete again.
He earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from UTSA in 2009 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UT Health San Antonio in 2014. Today he leads therapy and sports performance services across OSD's Rockwall, Forney, Wylie, and Royse City locations while continuing to treat patients himself.
At home in Royse City, Jay is a proud father of three. The same optimism friends know him for shows up in his work: meet people where they are, believe in what is possible, and keep moving forward.
